These directions below will take you to Casa da Fonte from the nearby airports at Porto (Portugal) and Santiago de Compostela (Spain).
From Porto Airport
This journey north from the airport uses the A3 autostrada and takes about 1 hour. It is easier to follow and more scenic than the alternative journey below. When you exit the A3 at J13 the toll payable is € 6.85.
 Remember to set odometer to zero before you set off!!

Leaving airport get in lane signposted A41, A3 Braga.

Exit A41 at Junction 6 signposted A3 Valenca, Braga.

Pick up ticket at toll booth. Follow A3 north.

Exit A3 at Junction 13 signposted Paredes de Coura, N303.
After leaving the toll booth take the LH lane signposted Paredes de Coura.

From Porto Airport (alternative route)
This journey uses the A28 & A27 and takes about 1hr 10 mins if you stick to the speed limits. There are no tolls to pay.

From Santiago de Compostela Airport
Assuming you have found your way south on the N550 from Vigo (Spain) to Valenca (Portugal)...
As you cross the bridge over the River Minho into Portugal reset your odometer to zero.

After crossing the bridge you will see a sign indicating you are on the IP1 to Porto &Viana

Leave the IP1 at Junct. 14 and join the N13 signposted V.N. Cerveira & Viana de Castelo and proceed to the next roundabout.

Stay on this road as you climb up into the hills.
